Many artists collaborate with instrument designers to create custom guitars, banjos, and more. Young designers will personalize paper instruments inspired by those on display in the galleries. Unique custom pieces on view include Waylon Jennings’s leather-covered Telecaster electric guitar and Taylor Swift’s Swarovski crystal-encrusted Taylor acoustic guitar, to name a few.
