Joybeth Taylor wrote Ella Langley’s songs “Choosin’ Texas”—a Hot Country Songs #1 and an all-genre Hot 100 Top Five—“Dandelion,” and “Weren’t for the Wind.” Her songs have also been recorded by Gavin Adcock, Corey Kent, Kameron Marlowe, and Warren Zeiders. Taylor was nominated for MusicRow magazine’s 2025 Female Songwriter of the Year and Breakthrough Writer of the Year awards. Presented in support of the exhibition American Currents: State of the Music, which features Ella Langley. Ford Theater. Included with Museum admission. Program ticket required.
