NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Dec. 6, 2023 – Last night, four-time Grammy Award winner Keith Urban and Country Music Hall of Fame member Vince Gill returned to Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena to host Urban’s recurring All for the Hall benefit concert for the Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum.

The concert featured a star-studded lineup of performers, including Kelsea Ballerini, ERNEST, Riley Green, Mickey Guyton, HARDY, Old Dominion, The War And Treaty, Trisha Yearwood and Country Music Hall of Fame members Brenda Lee, Brooks & Dunn and Patty Loveless.

This year’s show raised more than $900,000 in support the nonprofit museum’s education programs, which is the largest amount raised in the history of the Nashville event. This was the eighth All for the Hall concert organized by Urban. Collectively, the Nashville shows have raised more than $5 million in support of the museum and its mission.

During the concert, which was themed “The Song Remembers When,” artists performed a song that defined a memorable moment in their life, in addition to one of their own songs. Urban and Gill joined many of the artists onstage throughout the evening. Performances included:

• Vince Gill – “Don’t Let Our Love Start Slippin’ Away” and “Rocky Mountain Way”
• Mickey Guyton – “Better Than You Left Me” and “Blame It on Your Heart”
• Riley Green – “I Wish Grandpas Never Died” and “Dixieland Delight”
• Kelsea Ballerini – “If You Go Down (I’m Goin’ Down Too)” and “You’ve Got a Friend”
• Patty Loveless – “Nothin’ But the Wheel” and “Put a Little Love in Your Heart”
• Brenda Lee – “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree”
• Old Dominion – “Memory Lane” and “Alive”
• ERNEST – “Kiss of Death” and “That’s the Way Love Goes”
• The War And Treaty – “Mr. Fun” and “O Holy Night”
• HARDY – “Truck Bed” and “It’s a Great Day to Be Alive”
• Trisha Yearwood – “The Song Remembers When” and “You’re No Good”
• Brooks & Dunn – “My Maria” and “I Ain’t Living Long Like This”

The evening also featured a performance of an original song from the museum’s flagship education program, Words & Music, which pairs students with professional songwriters to teach lyric writing and language arts through music. With the support of professional songwriter Paulina Jayne, Abigail Sowards, a senior from Stewarts Creek High School, performed her song “These Moments” alongside her fellow classmates John Dechira and David Guydon. Sowards is among the more than 8,000 students this year who have participated in the museum’s Words & Music program.

About All for the Hall
The All for the Hall campaign began in 2005 when Country Music Hall of Fame member Vince Gill suggested country music artists contribute the proceeds of one annual performance to benefit the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. Launched in 2007 in New York, the series has alternated between New York and Los Angeles in succeeding years, with Gill and fellow Country Music Hall of Fame member Emmylou Harris as hosts. With Keith Urban, Gill also co-hosts a recurring All for the Hall concert in Nashville at Bridgestone Arena. In September 2021, the museum hosted the first-ever All for the Hall benefit in Dallas, which is set to return to the city in 2024. Funds raised from All for the Hall events support the museum’s educational initiatives, which directly serve more than 130,000 people annually.

Designed for grades 3-12, Words & Music allows students to tell their stories by writing original song lyrics, while developing language-arts skills. The program embraces and showcases country music’s legacy of songwriting and passes it down to the next generation of writers and thinkers. Through Words & Music, students interact with a professional songwriter, paired with their class, in an engaging performance workshop that transforms students’ lyrics into finished songs.
