Sandy Knox wrote Reba McEntire’s “Does He Love You” (featuring Linda Davis), “She Thinks His Name Was John,” and “Why Haven’t I Heard from You.” Her songs have also been recorded by Neil Diamond, Patti LaBelle, Liza Minnelli, Dolly Parton, Donna Summer, and Dionne Warwick. Knox released a musical audio book, Weighting: My Life If It Were a Musical, in 2025 and will be accompanied by the book’s performers, Evan Jenkins, Jackie Wilson, and Kyndle Wylde. Ford Theater.
