Family Program: Explore Guitar
Did you know that Freddy Fender chose his stage name based on the Fender brand? Celebrate his connection to the guitar by dropping in to try your hand at acoustic and electric guitar. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned musician, you’re sure to learn something new. Museum educator Adam Ollendorff will guide participants in this informal experience inspired by Fender’s country and Tejano music. Come make music with us! Presented in support of the Museum’s Discover Freddy Fender project, part of a series exploring diverse voices in country music. Program made possible by a grant from the Tennessee Arts Commission. All ages. Taylor Swift Education Center. Included with Museum admission. Free to Museum members.
