Try your hand at the mountain dulcimer, a time-honored American instrument. First documented in the early 1800s, the mountain dulcimer has played an important role in the history of country music—and is one of the easiest instruments to learn. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned musician, you’re sure to learn something new. Musician and educator Helena Hallberg will guide participants in this informal, hands-on experience. Come make music with us! All ages. Taylor Swift Education Center. Included with Museum admission. Free to Museum members.
