Country Music Hall of Fame member Ray Charles, often referred to as “the Genius of Soul,” was known for both his music and his flashy stage wear. His signature look included an eye-catching dinner jacket, a ruffled shirt, and a snazzy bow tie. These clothes helped Charles stand out onstage as he sat at his piano. Stand out during your visit to the Museum by making your own bow tie using stickers, feathers, buttons, and more. Part of the Discover Ray Charles project. All ages. Taylor Swift Education Center. Included with Museum admission. Free to Museum members.
