McCrary Sisters to Headline Museum’s Inaugural Easter Brunch on March 27
More Family Programs and FREE Admission for Middle Tennessee Students March 19 – April 3
NASHVILLE, Tenn., – Feb. 23, 2016 – The Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum will be packed this spring with activities that blend music, art, and education, offering fun for the whole family.
Soulful sister vocalists the McCrary Sisters will headline the museum’s inaugural Easter Brunch on Sunday, March 27, 2016. Family-style seatings will be available at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. in the museum’s Event Hall. Daughters of longtime Fairfield Four tenor Rev. Sam McCrary, the McCrary Sisters—Alfreda, Ann, Deborah and Regina—bring unique energy and varied experiences from the worlds of pop, rock, R&B and gospel music. Diners will enjoy a performance by the McCrary Sisters with a meal prepared by museum executive chef Bobby Hammock.
Brunch will feature fresh waffles and scrambled eggs made to order, apple-cider-brined pork, braised Swiss steaks, mushroom-and-herb-stuffed chicken breast, shrimp and lobster Newburg and much more. The Easter Bunny will be on hand for free photos. Brunch tickets include entry into the museum and are $60 for adults, $25 for kids 6-12 and free for kids 5 and under. Ticket price includes gratuity and tax.
”In the same spirit as our holiday Deck the Hall concert series, we wanted to create an annual spring event to bring Nashville friends and families together,” said Sharon Brawner, senior VP of sales and marketing for the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. “This Easter Sunday, we are excited to share the museum galleries, engaging programming and the unmatched views from our Event Hall with the local community. What better place to enjoy soul stirring gospel music and good Southern cooking than at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.”
Tickets for both seatings go on sale today, Feb. 23, at 10 a.m. CST. For more information and to purchase tickets visit countrymusichalloffame.org/spring.
From March 19 through April 3, visitors will be offered a variety of programs and events that provide fun for all ages. The Taylor Swift Education Center will feature hands-on music-making, songwriting, and art programs.
