Throughout his career, Eric Church has built a small, trusted network of songwriting collaborators, creating a consistent sound and a distinct, authentic voice. Two of these writers will perform and share the stories behind the songs they have crafted with Church. Luke Laird wrote “Drink in My Hand,” “Give Me Back My Hometown,” “Talladega,” and other songs on Church’s Chief (2011) and Heart & Soul albums. Jeremy Spillman wrote “Hell on the Heart,” as well as additional songs on all of Church’s albums. Offered in support of the exhibition Eric Church: Country Heart, Restless Soul (2021), presented by Gibson. Ford Theater. Included with Museum admission. Program ticket required.
