Rob Ickes, a fifteen-time International Bluegrass Music Association Dobro Player of the Year, and Trey Hensley, an acclaimed singer and a IBMA Guitar Player of the Year nominee for three consecutive years (2020-2022), perform both as a duo and as side musicians with various bluegrass and country artists. Ickes has performed with Merle Haggard, Alan Jackson, Alison Krauss, Reba McEntire, and Earl Scruggs, while Hensley has performed with Johnny Cash and Peter Frampton. Together, Ickes and Hensley have released four albums, including 2023’s Living in a Song, and performed live or recorded with Tommy Emmanuel, Vince Gill, Taj Mahal, Marty Stuart, and Steve Wariner.
