Musician Spotlight: Mike Webb
Mike Webb was a student of longtime Roy Acuff dobro player Pete “Bashful Brother Oswald” Kirby, who taught Webb to play both banjo and dobro. He has performed or recorded with Little Jimmy Dickens, Buddy Jewell, Jim & Jesse, Charlie Louvin, Bobby Osborne, Marty Stuart, Tanya Tucker, and Mac Wiseman. Additionally, Webb has made appearances at the Grand Ole Opry as a member of Wilma Lee Cooper & the Clinch Mountain Clan, as well as with the Tennessee Mafia Jug Band, of which he is a longtime member.
