Musician Spotlight: Mark W. Winchester
Mark W. Winchester is a bass player, singer, and songwriter who has shared stages and studios with a range of artists, including Sam Bush, Elvis Costello, Ronnie Dunn, Mary Gauthier, Loretta Lynn, Martina McBride, Delbert McClinton, Ricky Skaggs, Marty Stuart, and Shania Twain. He was a member of Emmylou Harris’s Nash Ramblers prior to working as a professional songwriter, during which time he wrote the Randy Travis hit “Would I?” Winchester later joined the Brian Setzer Orchestra and has had several of his songs recorded by Setzer, including “Rooster Rock,” on which Winchester sings lead vocals. He is a member of the session musician trio Lester Winchester McKendree, whose debut album, They Got It All, will be released in May. Ford Theater. Included with Museum admission.
