Musician Spotlight: Josh Okeefe
The child of Irish immigrants, Derby, England, native Josh Okeefe is a folk singer-songwriter who has performed with Glen Hansard, Alison Krauss, Country Music Hall of Fame member Kris Kristofferson, Ramblin’ Jack Elliott, and Rufus Wainwright. His work has been recorded by several recording artists including Ashley Monroe and High Valley. Okeefe has made appearances at Madison Square Garden as a guest of Pearl Jam, the Newport Folk Festival, the Woody Guthrie Folk Festival, and the Glastonbury Festival of Contemporary Performing Arts at the invitation of British folk musician Billy Bragg.
