Pianist John Jarvis began his professional career at the age of fourteen, as a Motown Records staff musician. In 1974 he took a role in Rod Stewart’s band, and through the years he has also performed or recorded with Garth Brooks, Jimmy Buffett, Glen Campbell, Rodney Crowell, Vince Gill, Reba McEntire, Bob Seger, Shania Twain, and others. As a songwriter, Jarvis has written songs for Cher, Vince Gill, Waylon Jennings, the Judds, Taj Mahal, Stevie Nicks, Conway Twitty, and more.
