John Cowan is a former member of New Grass Revival and the Sky Kings. As a solo artist, he has released seven studio albums and one live album. As a bassist and vocalist, Cowan has recorded with Garth Brooks, Tracy Byrd, Rodney Crowell, Delbert McClinton, Parker McCollum, Tracy Nelson, Poco, Jon Randall, Kenny Rogers, Ricky Skaggs, the String Cheese Incident, Travis Tritt, Wynonna Judd, and Zac Brown Band. He currently tours with the Doobie Brothers and performs with his own band John Cowan’s New Grass All Stars, and the HercuLeons with Andrea Zonn. He is a member of the International Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame. Cowan will release a memoir, Hold to a Dream: A Newgrass Odyssey, in May. Ford Theater. Included with Museum admission.
