Musician Spotlight: Charlie McCoy
Country Music Hall of Fame member and Grammy winner Charlie McCoy is a multi-instrumentalist best known for his harmonica work, but he has also played bass, guitar, keyboards, percussion, saxophone, trumpet, and tuba on many recordings. McCoy has been an in-demand session player for more than fifty years and has played with Bob Dylan, Simon & Garfunkel, Ringo Starr, and Country Music Hall of Fame members Bobby Bare, Johnny Cash, Vince Gill, Loretta Lynn, Dolly Parton, and Elvis Presley. Additionally, he was the music director for the hit television show Hee Haw for eighteen years. McCoy became a member of the Grand Ole Opry in 2022. Ford Theater. Included with Museum admission.
