Join a professional songwriter to write a song as a group in this introductory workshop. Monument Records recording artist Alex Hall will teach the fundamentals of self-expression through songwriting and basic song structure, including form, theme, and rhyme scheme. Participants will then share ideas and write an original song of their own. Originally from Gainesville, Georgia, Hall released his debut full-length record, Side Effects of the Heart, in September. His 2021 EP, Six Strings, features guitar and vocals from Kassi Ashton, Vince Gill, John Osborne of Brothers Osborne, Brad Paisley, Tenille Townes, and Brad Tursi of Old Dominion. Recommended for ages 7 and up, but all are welcome. Taylor Swift Education Center. Limited seating. Included with Museum admission. Free to Museum members.
