Sing, dance, and play as a family at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum the second Saturday of each month. Designed for families with children 5 years old and younger, Fam Jam is a participatory music-making experience, led by Museum educators and a special guest artist, that introduces young children to country music instruments and encourages child development through moving, singing, and listening. This session will spotlight the dulcimer and feature Michele Gourley, an award-winning mountain dulcimer player and multi-instrumentalist who lives in Nashville and has performed across the Southeast and in New York City and Iceland. Family music-making promotes language acquisition and the development of cognitive, social, and motor skills—and it’s fun! Ages 0-5. Taylor Swift Education Center. Included with Museum admission. Free to Museum members.
