Luke Combs’s cover of Tracy Chapman’s “Fast Car” won Single of the Year and Song of the Year at the 2023 Country Music Association Awards. His love of the song dates back to his childhood, when he would listen to music—including Chapman’s 1988 album that features “Fast Car”—in the car with his father. Design your own fast car inspired by the people, places, and sounds of your life. What memories does your fast car hold? Offered in support of exhibition Luke Combs: The Man I Am. Recommended for ages 5 and up, but all are welcome. Taylor Swift Education Center. Included with Museum admission. Free to Museum members.
