Family Program: Butterfly Bonanza
Dolly Parton grew up chasing butterflies in the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee. After her original song “Love Is Like a Butterfly” became a #1 country hit in 1974, she adopted the butterfly as a symbol of beauty and gentleness. Come decorate your own butterfly that can flap its wings and fly! What colors will you use to make your beautiful butterfly? Presented in support of the exhibition Dolly Parton: Journey of a Seeker. All ages. Taylor Swift Education Center. Included with Museum admission. Free to Museum members.
