From Leeds, England, singer, songwriter, and musician Corinne Bailey Rae shot to stardom with her self-titled debut album, released in 2006 and featuring the hits “Put Your Records On” and “Like a Star.” She has won two Grammys and two MOBO (Music of Black Origin) awards, as well as multiple nominations for BRIT and BET awards.

Bailey Rae has also composed music for film and television, including the theme for Stan Lee’s television crime drama “Lucky Man,” “The Scientist” for the film “Fifty Shades Darker,” and “New to Me,” performed in the film “The High Note” by Tracee Ellis Ross. She has collaborated and performed with artists across musical genres, including Mary J. Blige, Al Green, Herbie Hancock, Richard Hawley, KING, Paul McCartney, Kele Okereke (Bloc Party), Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Questlove, Salaam Rami, RZA, Tyler the Creator, Paul Weller, Stevie Wonder and many more.
