Country musician. Born September 28, 1914. Died March 11, 1993. Career most active 1930s-1950s. Guitarist and singer. Worked with several notable bands, including Bill Boyd’s Cowboy Ramblers, Roy Newman’s band, and the Light Crust Doughboys. With his own band, Jim Boyd & His Men of the West, he recorded for RCA 1949-1951.
