Country Music Hall Of Fame® And Museum Promotes Two Staff Members To Vice President And Senior Director Roles

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Sept. 24, 2026 – The Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum has promoted two staff members to broader leadership positions within the museum’s creative and education teams.

Luke Wiget has been promoted to vice president of creative. Joining the museum’s senior staff and promoted to senior director of education and community engagement is Aaron Helvig.

Creative

Luke Wiget has been promoted to the museum’s vice president of creative. In this role, Wiget oversees the museum’s creative department, which fulfills the comprehensive creative needs for the institution. His responsibilities include artistic direction and design support for all exhibitions, education and marketing initiatives, as well as books published by the museum’s CMF Press and records produced by CMF Records. He also supervises the museum’s video production, photography and digital content creation, including for the museum’s public programs and other events. He joined the museum in 2016, and, prior to his promotion, he served as senior director of creative. He holds a bachelor’s degree in English from San Jose State University and a Master of Fine Arts in creative writing from The New School.

Education and Community Engagement

Aaron Helvig has been promoted to senior director of education and community engagement. In this role, he oversees the cultural institution’s educational offerings for school, family, community, volunteer and intern populations, encompassing over 2,000 programs that serve more than 125,000 people annually. He guides the work of the Taylor Swift Education Center, which includes three classrooms, interactive galleries and distance learning studios. Helvig also supports the museum’s education council, which is composed of board members and experts in education, music and community service initiatives, and who advise on programming in support of diverse audiences. He joined the museum in 2019, and prior to his promotion, Helvig held the position of director of school and music programs at the museum. He holds a bachelor’s degree in music education and a master’s degree in music from Northern Arizona University.
