CMA Theater Policies 

  • Bags larger than 12″ x 12″ x 6″ are prohibited. All persons, bags, and items are subject to search.

Mobility Accommodations

The 224 Rep. John Lewis Way South entrance access ramp is located to the side of the doors. Inside, the Museum is equipped with elevator service at all levels, including elevators to all floors of the CMA Theater. Ramps and automated door entrances are in place for wheelchair accessibility.

Accessible Seating

Please reserve designated accessible seating, which is available for every show. If this is no longer available for your desired event, please contact our CMA Theater main line at 615-760-6556. 

Accessible Restrooms

Wheelchair-accessible and Family restrooms are available in the CMA Theater. Accessible water fountains are on the fourth floor of the CMA Theater.

Yes, you can purchase tickets at the front information desk at the Museum.

Tickets purchased online can be set for E-Mail, which are typically sent a few minutes after initial purchase unless the event is on a “ticket delay” delivery. You can also select Will Call pick-up from box office. The box office opens 2 hours prior to show start time.

A seat that has limited views of the stage and or performers. Stage layouts are vary from show to show.

Concessions are available on multiple floors of the venue. Concessions include a selection of beer, wine, liquor, soft drinks, bottled water, and packaged snacks. Signature drinks and heavier food offerings such as deli sandwiches or flatbreads vary by show.

Professional cameras are prohibited. Individual photo and video policy is set by the artist team and varies by show. Please refer to onsite signage, theater usher instruction, and pre-show announcements for the final day of show policy.

When you enter the building on Rep. John Lewis Way S, the elevators to the theater will be to your left—next to the Hatch Show Print storefront.
