Jimmy Robbins wrote Maren Morris’s Grammy-nominated songs “I Could Use a Love Song” and “The Bones,” the latter of which won Song of the Year awards from the Country Music Association and the Academy of Country Music. His other hits include Jason Aldean’s “Lights Come On,” Kelsea Ballerini’s “Half of My Hometown” featuring Kenny Chesney, David Nail’s “Whatever She’s Got,” Jake Owen’s “Beachin’,” Thomas Rhett’s “It Goes Like This,” Blake Shelton’s “Sure Be Cool If You Did,” and Keith Urban and Miranda Lambert’s “We Were Us.” Robbins’s songs have also been recorded by Sabrina Carpenter, Kelly Clarkson, Dan + Shay, Sara Evans, Tim McGraw, Chase Rice, Dallas Smith, and Brett Young.
