Bear Hug/Abrazo de Oso, the Nashville Opera’s first bilingual children's opera, tells the story of four bears who discover that, despite their different appearances, languages, and nationalities, their hearts are the same. With engaging plot twists and lively music from traditional Spanish opera, or “zarzuela,” Bear Hug/Abrazo de Oso delivers all-ages entertainment and a timely message of acceptance. This performance features four professional opera singers, a pianist, sets, and costumes. 45 minutes. Ford Theater.
