In Texas, it’s probably a fiddle. In Boston, it might be a violin. In Nashville, it depends. The Museum travels to the Nashville Public Library’s Thompson Lane Branch to explore the differences and similarities between fiddle and violin sounds through an interactive performance by professional musicians Marie McGlone and Amberly Rosen. Attendees will then get to pick up a bow and try their hands at fiddling. Instruments provided. All ages. Takes place at the Nashville Public Library’s Thompson Lane Branch, 380 Thompson Ln., Nashville, TN, 37211. Free.
