Bluegrass and Beyond: Jim Hurst Band

Guitarist and singer-songwriter Jim Hurst’s distinctive style combines flatpicking and fingerstyle techniques. He is a two-time International Bluegrass Music Association Guitar Player of the Year and has played with Holly Dunn, Sara Evans, Claire Lynch, and Trisha Yearwood. Hurst tours extensively as both a solo artist and with the Jim Hurst Trio, and he also teaches at workshops and music camps throughout North America and Europe. Presented as part of the Museum’s annual Bluegrass and Beyond celebration, supported by Rick and Kit Crump in honor of George A. and Marjorie S. Crump. Ford Theater. Included with Museum admission.
