Bluegrass musician. Born April 23, 1938. Mandolin player. Teamed with brother, Clarence, to form the Country Boys and Kentucky Colonels, mid-1950s. Performed as a member of Bill Monroe’s Blue Grass Boys and Lester Flatt’s Nashville Grass, 1960s-1970s. Joined Country Gazette, mid-1970s. Joined the Nashville Bluegrass Band, 1980s.
