Music researcher and railroad worker. In the early 1970s led the effort to get the United States Postal Service to issue a commemorative Jimmie Rodgers postage stamp. Author of the book Haywire Mac and the Big Rock Candy Mountain ([United States]: Stillhouse Hollow Publishers, 1981).
