Kent Blazy has written numerous songs recorded by Garth Brooks—including the hits “Ain’t Going Down (‘Til the Sun Comes Up),” “If Tomorrow Never Comes,” “She’s Gonna Make It,” and “Somewhere Other Than the Night”—as well as “All the Women I Am” (Reba McEntire), “Headed for a Heartache” (Gary Morris), and songs recorded by Kenny Chesney, Terri Clark, Diamond Rio, Randy Houser, Patty Loveless, and Jon Pardi. Cory Batten has written “The Call” (Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood), “She Wouldn’t Be Gone” (Blake Shelton), and songs recorded by Love and Theft, Rhonda Vincent, and Clay Walker. Together, Blazy and Batten co-wrote Chris Young’s #1 hit “Gettin’ You Home (The Black Dress Song).” Ford Theater. Included with Museum admission. Program ticket required. Free to Museum members.
