Inspired by Country Music Hall of Fame member Patty Loveless’s Kentucky roots, create your own artistic interpretation of the Appalachian Mountains using watercolors and crayons. Participants will also learn about wax resist techniques in art. Presented in support of the exhibition Patty Loveless: No Trouble with the Truth. Recommended for ages 5 and up, but all are welcome. Taylor Swift Education Center. Limited seating. Included with Museum admission. Free to Museum members.

Free Admission for Local Youth

Tennessee children ages 18 and under from Cheatham, Davidson, Robertson, Rutherford, Sumner, Williamson, and Wilson counties receive free museum admission as part of Community Counts: Museum Admission Program for Locals. Up to two accompanying adults receive 25 percent off admission. Proof of residency required. For more information, please visit Community Counts or inquire at the Museum Box Office.
