Country music history is filled with the enduring contributions of veterans—George Jones, Kris Kristofferson, Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, and so many others wore a uniform before donning a Country Music Hall of Fame medallion.
Each year on Veterans Day weekend, the Museum celebrates those veterans—and all of the other American heroes who've served and continue to serve—by hosting special veterans-focused programming and offering free admission to active and retired armed services members and their families.
This year, the Museum hosted a three-day celebration—including a performance from RaeLynn—and welcomed more than 9,400 visitors (more than 1,600 of whom redeemed free admission). Guests also wrote over 170 postcards to service members throughout the weekend.
