The Porter Wagoner Show was produced and syndicated from 1960 to 1980. By 1970, the show reached one hundred cities, with an average weekly audience of over four million viewers. Starring Porter Wagoner with his Wagonmasters band and special guests, the show was a flashy, upbeat half-hour of country entertainment. These show segments feature Jim Ed Brown, Don Gibson, the Oak Ridge Boys, Jerry Reed, Tex Ritter, Conway Twitty, and Faron Young.
The film, presented in support of the fiftieth anniversary of the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, is screened in the Museum's Ford Theater and has a run time of 30 minutes.
