This session of Words & Music at Home features Matthew Ramsey, songwriter and lead singer of Old Dominion, two-time winners of both the Country Music Association and Academy of Country Music’s Vocal Group of the Year award. Ramsey has co-written all of the band’s singles to date, including “Break Up with Him,” “No Such Thing as a Broken Heart,” and “Written in the Sand.” In 2019, Old Dominion released their self-titled third album on RCA Nashville; it includes the singles “Make It Sweet” and “One Man Band.” Ramsey has also written the hits “Make You Miss Me” (Sam Hunt), “Save It for a Rainy Day” (Kenny Chesney), and “Say You Do” (Dierks Bentley).
