Gretchen Peters wrote “The Chill of an Early Fall” (George Strait), “Independence Day” (Martina McBride), “Let That Pony Run” (Pam Tillis), “My Baby Loves Me” (Martina McBride), “The Secret of Life” (Faith Hill), “When You Love Someone” (Bryan Adams), and “You Don’t Even Know Who I Am” (Patty Loveless). Peters has released several critically-acclaimed albums and in 2015, she was honored in the museum’s Poets and Prophets: Salute to Legendary Songwriters series. Presented by SunTrust. Ford Theater.
