Siblings Giri and Uma Peters are a musical duo from Nashville who specialize in old-time and bluegrass music. Fourteen-year-old Giri plays fiddle, mandolin, and guitar, and twelve-year-old Uma plays fiddle and clawhammer banjo. Giri and Uma have performed at Big Ears Festival with Rhiannon Giddens, Grey Fox Bluegrass Festival, Nashville’s Station Inn, the International Bluegrass Music Association’s World of Bluegrass, and the International Folk Music Awards. Ford Theater. Limited seating. Included with museum admission. Free to museum members.
