Music Masters: A Conversation with Brent Maher

Six-time Grammy winner Brent Maher ranks among Nashville’s most successful record producers and songwriters. His recording catalog includes more than twenty #1 singles and numerous platinum and multi-platinum albums. He discovered and produced the Judds and helped develop the duo’s trailblazing acoustic sound. Other credits include Chuck Berry, Ray Charles, Gladys Knight, Shelby Lynne, Kathy Mattea, Jo Dee Messina, Olivia Newton-John, Roy Orbison, Elvis Presley, Kenny Rogers, Ike and Tina Turner, and Wynonna. Maher engineered the Grammy-winning single “Lost Highway” from the album The Last of the Breed, featuring Merle Haggard, Willie Nelson, and Ray Price. The interview program will include vintage photographs, videos, and recordings, and a live performance. After the program, he will sign commemorative Hatch Show Print.
