Between 1957 and 1960, the United States Army produced Country Style, U.S.A., a series of fifteen-minute television episodes featuring performances from leading country music stars of the day. Used as a recruitment aid, the shows were produced at Bradley Studios in Nashville and distributed to radio and television stations throughout the country. The stars in these four episodes include Roy Acuff, Eddy Arnold, Chet Akins, Johnny Cash, Carol Lee, Minnie Pearl, Webb Pierce, and Kitty Wells. 60 minutes. Veterans Day at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum is presented by Zaxby’s. Ford Theater. Included with museum admission. Free to museum members.
