Family Program: Velvet Elvis Painting

In her song “Velvet Elvis,” Kacey Musgraves references a black velvet painting of Elvis Presley. During this workshop, explore the history of this fun medium and create your own black velvet painting using pastels and black light paint. Learn to paint a portrait of Presley or another icon of your choice. Then, see your art light up under a black light! Ages five and up.
