Nov 29, 201904:30 PM - 05:00 PM

4:30 PM – 5:00 PM

Free and open to the public

The McCrary Sisters will kick off Deck the Hall, a full schedule of holiday activities at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, with a performance featuring jazz-, R&B-, and gospel-influenced arrangements of classic holiday songs. They will then light a twenty-five-foot Christmas tree in the museum’s Mike Curb Conservatory. The McCrarys—Alfreda, Ann, Deborah, and Regina—grew up in Nashville as the children of Reverend Samuel H. McCrary, who raised a large family while balancing his preaching with performing as a member of gospel group the Fairfield Four. As individuals and as a group, the sisters have performed with artists such as Eric Church, Bob Dylan, Isaac Hayes, Elvis Presley, Carrie Underwood, and Stevie Wonder. Free. Following the performance and tree lighting, the McCrary Sisters will sign copies of their new CD, A Very McCrary Christmas, available for purchase in the Museum Store. Deck the Hall is supported by Balsam Hill and Hilton Nashville Downtown.
