Author, visual artist, filmmaker, and multi-instrumentalist J.D. Wilkes has collaborated with the Black Keys, John Carter Cash, Shemekia Copeland, Merle Haggard, Wanda Jackson, Shooter Jennings, Robert Plant, Sturgill Simpson, Todd Snider, and Hank Williams III. He founded the Legendary Shack Shakers in the mid-1990s and continues to lead the American roots band. Wilkes released his first solo album, Fire Dream, in 2018. Ford Theater.
