New York City native Fats Kaplin can play nearly any instrument with strings. Kaplin is a highly sought-after session and touring musician who brings elements of gypsy jazz and traditional stringband music to his live shows and studio recordings. Kaplin has toured and recorded with Suzy Bogguss, Elizabeth Cook, Elvis Costello, Robbie Fulks, the Judds, Buddy Miller, John Prine, Pure Prairie League, Jack White, and Trisha Yearwood. His own band, the Fats Kaplin Gang, entertains Nashville audiences on a regular basis with rags, ballads, waltzes, and laments chronicling life on the road. Ford Theater. Limited seating.
