The Legends of Country Music television series was filmed in Austin, Texas, at KLRU-TV, in association with The Nashville Network. Only thirteen episodes were made, all of which aired on TNN in 1994. This episode, hosted by Willie Nelson, features Rodney Crowell, Emmylou Harris, and Kimmie Rhodes. Highlights include Harris and Nelson performing “Gulf Coast Highway,” Nelson singing “Angel Flying Too Close to the Ground,” and the artists collaborating on “Even Cowgirls Get the Blues.” Presented in support of Emmylou Harris: Songbird’s Flight and Outlaws & Armadillos: Country’s Roaring ’70s. 45 minutes. Ford Theater. Included with museum admission. Free to museum members.​
