Since its premiere in 2002, CMT Crossroads has paired country music artists with performers from other genres for unique collaborative performances. This episode celebrates the musical legacies of Ray Charles and Travis Tritt as the two artists perform each other’s material and discuss their influences and musical careers. Highlights include Tritt’s performances of “What’d I Say,” and “Georgia on My Mind,” with Charles accompanying him on piano, and Charles and Tritt sharing vocals on Hank Snow’s “I’m Moving On” and Buddy Guy’s “Leave My Girl Alone.” 40 minutes.
