Family Program: Songwriting 101: Judds Style

​Write a song as a group in this introductory workshop. Singer-songwriter Jeff Middleton will teach the fundamentals of songwriting, including form, theme, and rhyme scheme. Participants will listen to a Judds song for inspiration. At workshop’s end, participants will sing and record their original song. Middleton was a member of the Dirt Drifters and has written songs recorded by Jason Aldean, Lee Brice, and Trace Adkins. Ages 7 and up. Presented in support of the exhibit The Judds: Dream Chasers. Taylor Swift Education Center. Included with museum admission. Free to museum members.
