From the high lonesome sound of Bill Monroe’s Blue Grass Boys, to the classic duets of Conway Twitty and Loretta Lynn, to the unmistakable blend of Naomi and Wynonna Judd, vocal harmony plays an integral part in country music. In this fun, interactive, introductory program, professional vocalist Isabel Soehnlen leads participants through the fundamentals of two-part harmony singing. Soehnlen tours extensively through Appalachia and teaches at University School of Nashville and W.O. Smith Music School. Ages 7 and up. Presented in support of the exhibit The Judds: Dream Chasers.
