Family Program: Singing in Harmony for Beginners: Holiday Style From the high lonesome sound of Bill Monroe’s Blue Grass Boys, to the classic collaborations between Conway Twitty and Loretta Lynn, to the treasured duets of Emmylou Harris and Gram Parsons, vocal harmony plays an integral part in country music. Soehnlen tours extensively through Appalachia and teaches at University School of Nashville and W.O. Smith Music School. Tufano has collaborated with hit songwriters Don Schlitz and Mark Irwin. Ages 7 and up. Presented in support of the exhibit Emmylou Harris: Songbird’s Flight. Taylor Swift Education Center. Included with museum admission. Free to museum members. Limited seating.
