VOLUNTEER SPOTLIGHT

School Program Tour Guides
Magic happens when music and children connect! At the Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum, a team of dedicated volunteers creates that magic. With well-crafted questions and their personal experiences, the school program tour guides take small groups of students through the Museum exhibits. They talk about the history of country music, but they also teach students about America's social and cultural history. Some of the tour guides are artists, photographers, homemakers, university professors, radio personalities, accountants, or attorneys. Others are writers, music industry professionals, songwriters, or singers. Some are even relatives of members of the Country Music Hall of Fame. All are committed to preserving the traditions of country music by educating today's youth. They are excellent at what they do, and they love it. One child's observation seems to sum it up: "Bob was awesome. He even seemed to have fun with us!"
