RCA STUDIO B GROUP ITINERARY

​Duration: 2.5 Hours

Historic RCA Studio B

Begin on Nashville’s famed Music Row with a tour of Historic RCA Studio B, Nashville’s oldest remaining recording studio. Following the guided tour, groups will gather around the legendary microphone for a recording session with a professional sound engineer. Then it’s off to the museum to complete your tour experience. This itinerary concludes with optional lunch and line-dancing at the world famous Wildhorse Saloon. CASH ON CASH

No one told a story quite like Johnny Cash, and that legacy continues in this one-of-a-kind program. Enjoy a private performance and discussion with Johnny and June’s only child, John Carter Cash. Through touching stories and familiar songs, John Carter retells the story of his father’s legendary career and reflects upon what it was like growing up in this iconic music family. John Carter welcomes questions from the audience and concludes each performance with a meet and greet and autograph signing. Museum admission included. Based on availability.


HISTORIC RCA STUDIO B TOUR ♪

Historic RCA Studio B

What started in 1957 as a sketch on a dinner napkin quickly became the birthplace to more than 35,000 legendary songs and more than 1,000 popular hits. Historic RCA Studio B celebrates its 60th Anniversary in 2017. Located on renowned Music Row, Studio B is one of the most famous studios in the world. Over 35,000 songs were recorded here by artists such as Dolly Parton, Elvis Presley, Roy Orbison, and even more recently, Martina McBride and Carrie Underwood. Hear the stories behind the legendary recordings and view some of the original instruments used in producing over 1,000 hit records on this private guided tour.


STORIES BEHIND THE SONGS ♪

Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum

Discover the stories behind the music you love in a private session with one of Nashville’s hit-making songwriters. This intimate session allows the rare opportunity to hear hits as they were originally written. The writer demonstrates to the group how a song is created from concept to hit. After the session, join the writer for a meet and greet and autograph signing.


SHARING THE ART OF SONGWRITING* ♪

Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum

Experience for yourself what makes songwriting in Nashville so unique with this interactive co-writing program. Work closely with one of Nashville's most accomplished songwriters as they guide your group in composing original lyrics of their own. End this session with a group recording of Nashville's newest tune.

HATCH SHOW PRINT GROUP ITINERARY

Duration: 1 Hour

Hatch Show Print

This tour starts at legendary letterpress icon Hatch Show Print’s production shop. The nearly 135-year-old business will engage your group’s senses: They’ll listen to the presses crank while learning about the history of Hatch. They’ll also see the colorful, centuries-old posters that put the shop on the map—as well as recent works of their favorite entertainers! The tour concludes in the Hatch Show Print Space for Design, where the group can handle some of the tools of the trade and smell the ink as they print their own keepsake piece.
